The Old Emery Farm was established in Andover, NH in the mid 1700’s by William Emery of North Hampton, NH. The farm and farmhouse were handed down in the Emery family for 5 generations until hard times fell in the Great Depression. After this the farm was sometimes rented, often vacant and fell into disrepair until early in the 1980’s when it was occupied again.

Four owners and many renovations later, my husband Ron and I found this gem during our search for a small farm where we could learn about sustainable living. With high hopes and dreams of becoming more self-sufficient we moved here in October 2012.
